In all honesty, there is no genuine reason why Nigerians should be in the dire power supply situation that we are in today.

Have you read or heard about imminent and rampant tariff increases by Government? Regardless of the quality of service, you are likely to begin paying far higher tariffs for very little electrical power value! Why is it? The cost of fossil fuels availability is out of control in Nigeria! Nigeria has the highest cost of producing fuels feedstock (Crude Oil and Natural Gas) per unit measure than any where else in the world! And, why is that? You probably know better than we do. But inefficiencies are said to be part of the excuse.

We can try a new tact. Invest in renewable Power Supply systems. First, it will eliminate the issue of poor fuels (Gas or Diesel) supply and its attendant costs and troubles. Wind and Sunshine are not subject 'inefficiencies' or 'corruption'. Once installed, the only known costs are emolument-related and maintenance-related. And these are not as amenable to the Nigerian factor as fossils. The unit cost of green power is ever decreasing. That cannot be said for fossil-based power supply as we are seeing today.

In today's world, the technologies needed for constructing renewable power supply systems are mature, and maturing the more by the day. Meaning, their initial costs are spiraling downwards and efficiencies ballooning.

The time is now to bring Nigeria into the 21^st Century. Nigerians deserve constant, uninterruptible and affordable power supply. Enough is enough. Let the story telling end.

We are not interested in a Contract. We shall have an MOU/MOA signed with the Government of the State in which every detail shall be spelled out. Details which shall govern the building, operating and eventual transfer of the Asset to the Host Government. All MOUs/MOAs shall be backed by sovereign guarantees in every case and cannot be subject to changes in polity or party or persons in Government.

However, if a State government prefers to pay for the project in which case, they prefer to give us a Contract, we shall ofcourse deal.

In every case, Nedu Rails and Green Power Limited will deploy state-of-the-art technologies. And during the life cycle of the assets, at any time that the technologies improve and offer higher efficiencies, we will without fail, update or upgrade.

Finally, it is not entirely out of place to say that Nigeria too, being subject to the catastrophic effects of 'Climate Change', should begin doing our little, to help ameliorate the situation. Abuja residents will tell you that the weather in and around the City since the last half of 2023 is of a scale never before experienced there. It will not get better, if we do not begin to contribute our quota in the amelioration efforts.
